FD&FA Foundation Principles Training Course BS5839-1

This is a gateway course for all further learning in FD&FA systems. Learners are introduced to the requirements of BS 5839-1. The module includes basic principles of fire safety and an introduction to FD&FA systems requirements within the boundaries of the various legal frameworks within the UK.

This is module 1 of 5 which can lead to an OFQUAL L3 Award in the Requirements of FD&FA Systems for non-domestic buildings BS 5839-1: 2017.

Who should attend?

Anyone involved in the procurement, delivery, checking, of FD&FA systems and those who have any responsibility for fire safety within a building e.g., architects, service managers, building / property managers, consultants, fire risk assessors, electrical contractors, fire alarm contractors, interested parties (F&RS, building control, insurers).
