FD&FA Advanced Design - BS5839-1

Learners will develop knowledge from the FD&FA foundation courses (C01 modules 1 and 2) and/or industry experience with specific regard to more complex system design considerations. A sound understanding of basic FD&FA system design is essential to gain a full understanding of this CPD course. The course includes the practical application of design techniques for complex design issues which affect the layout of automatic detection in various roof and ceiling configurations.

Who should attend?

This course is an advanced FD&FA course. Learners must have completed at least FD&FA foundation and FD&FA design training before attending this course or have extensive FD&FA knowledge from the field. This is a technical design course so previous design knowledge and base BS 5839-1 knowledge is essential.

Those with a practical interest in the design of FD&FA systems including consultants, electrical contractors, fire alarm contractors and those involved in the design and verification of FD&FA systems.
